MSU student Charles King III, and his roommates, Lansing Community College student Michael Freund and Jordan Henika have had their preliminary examination moved to April 28 at the 55th District Court in Mason, Mich.
The examination, which was scheduled for yesterday, was moved to allow more time for forensic evidence to be analyzed, Freund’s attorney Scott Mertens said.
King and his roommates face three felony charges and one misdemeanors charge after allegedly providing four minors with alcohol on Jan. 30. Three of the minors died in a car accident later that evening.
“In a case like this, there’s a lot of forensics evidence,” Mertens said. “Not only the crash, but the data surrounding the crash like toxicology reports.”
