A 20-year-old female student reported her laptop was stolen from IM Sports-Circle between noon and 2:30 p.m., MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The student was attending a dance class in IM Sports-Circle. She plugged the laptop in near the wall and set it down on a bench at the beginning of class, McGlothian-Taylor said.
When she returned at the end of class the laptop and its case were gone.
The laptop is a Dell Bostro valued at $750 and the case was black and valued at $10.
There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
