The University Chorale, one of the College of Music’s choral ensembles, will partner with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra for a performance to celebrate the season of Lent.
The performance will be at 7 p.m. April 10 at St. Mary Cathedral, 219 Seymour Ave., in Lansing.
Music performed will be the complete Lord Nelson Mass by Franz Joseph Haydn — occasionally cited as the father of the symphony — and other music, including a piece by Mozart and a Gregorian chant. All of the music will be sung in Latin.
Tickets are available online through the Lansing Symphony Orchestra’s website or by calling the box office. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.
