The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women, or GRFW, will hold a casting call for women to speak out about heart disease at 5 p.m. Friday at Lansing Center, 333 E. Michigan Ave., in Lansing.
The casting call will select women for its 2011-12 GRFW campaign efforts, which could include national network TV programming, PSAs and magazine features.
The focus of the event is for women to make it their mission to fight heart disease.
Judging for the event will be based on personality, memorability, diversity as well as women’s personal stories.
