Freshmen fifteen Q's: 12/09/10

December 8, 2010

College is a whole new world for many freshmen traveling across campus for the first time. The State News sat down with one of these explorers to get a glimpse, in 15 questions or fewer, at a new face on campus and her perspective of her new frontier.

MEET TAYLOR ARMSTRONG

1. If you could have a tea party with three famous people, who would you invite?
President Obama, Trey Songz and Monica.

2. If you could gain one talent, what would it be?
I really wish that I could sing.

3. Would you rather have one arm or one leg?
I’d choose one arm because I’m kind of clumsy so one leg would be problematic.

4. If you had to write a children’s book about your life, what would be the title?
“Scared of the 7th Grade.” That was when I switched schools and I can say that it was really scary.

5. Describe yourself in five words.
Ditzy, silly, sleepy, hardworking and fun.

6. If you could be fluent in another language, which would you choose?
French. It sounds nice.

7. Who’s your favorite fictional character?
Tigger from “Winnie the Pooh.”

8. Favorite movie quote?
“All’s fair in love and basketball.”

9. What’s the top song played on your iPod?
“No Bullsh**,” by Chris Brown

10. If you were the opposite sex for a day what would you do?
Wear basketball shorts all day long because it’s so easy being a guy when it comes to clothes.

11. If you could be any animal what one would you be?
Cheetah. I like their pattern and that they’re fast.

12. What thing in life are you most looking forward to?
Graduating.

13. What’s your favorite historical event?
Barack Obama’s inauguration.

14. If you had to be one age for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Twenty-one because you’re legal.

15. If you could try one thing and have no repercussions, what would it be?
Skydive. I like facing my fears.
