No charges pressed in stabbing case

A man allegedly was stabbed in the back with a pair of scissors at about 2 a.m. on Nov. 14 outside of Rick’s American Cafe, 224 Abbot Road, East Lansing police Capt. Kim Johnson said.
A verbal argument began inside the bar and moved outside, and escalated when a man was stabbed. Six people were involved in the fight. The victim was taken to Ingham Regional Medical Center. Several others involved in the fight were transferred to Lansing’s Sparrow Hospital and were released the same day.
The victim does not want to press charges.
