Gas reportedly was stolen from a student’s car Sunday while it was parked in Lot 83, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The victim, a 20-year-old woman, found her gas cap missing from her car and about eight gallons of gas taken from the white 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The gas cap was valued at about $10 and the gas was worth about $21.50.
There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
