An autopsy performed Monday on hospitality business senior Michael Wolcott, who died Saturday morning, did not reveal the cause of his death, Ingham County Medical Examiner Dean Sienko said.
“There was nothing clear-cut that would explain his death from doing the autopsy,” Sienko said.
A toxicology report also was performed. East Lansing police Sgt. Scott Wriggelsworth told The State News on Sunday the results of the report could take about 30 days, but Sienko said the results may be available sooner.
“The told me at (Lansing’s) Sparrow (Hospital) that they were going to try to rush things,” Sienko said. “If something shows in a standard toxicology panel, it might go faster, maybe a few days. If it comes up negative and they want to do some atypical testing, then it could take longer.”
