Poetry night to be held for human rights

As part of an international movement for human rights and against gender violence, the 16 Days Lansing program will be hosting “A Night of Poetry” from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the RCAH Theatre in the basement of Snyder and Phillips halls.

Poets Rosina Hassoun, Lee Sayles and Susan Harris will be featured, as well as members of the MSU Slam Poetry Team.

The international campaign runs through Dec. 10 and was founded by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership at Rutgers University.
