The College of Music is presenting “An Evening of French Music” at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Music Building Auditorium.
The faculty recital consists of mezzo-soprano Molly Fillmore, flautist Richard Sherman and pianist Alan Nathan.

The faculty recital consists of mezzo-soprano Molly Fillmore, flautist Richard Sherman and pianist Alan Nathan.
Fillmore, an assistant professor of voice, sang the title role of “Salome” for the Arizona Opera and also sang the alto solo for Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with the Detroit Civic Symphony Orchestra.
Sherman completed postgraduate work at the Royal College of Music in London and has given master classes and recitals at the Sydney Conservatorium and Queensland Conservatory in Australia.
Nathan gained recognition with his debut at the Washington Opera in Verdi’s “Otello” and also has conducted at the Pittsburgh Opera, Virginia Opera and the Mexican National Opera.
