A Jimmy John’s employee was assaulted on her way home from work early Sunday morning while riding her bike through campus, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The employee, a 19-year-old MSU student, was near IM Sports-Circle when an unknown person punched her in the right arm, knocking her off of her bike, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The victim described the suspect as a male with short, dark curly hair wearing a white sweatshirt.
The student sustained only minor injuries from the incident including a bruise on her right arm beneath her shoulder.
The incident is under investigation.
