The Spartans tied the game with junior forward Brent Rosendall’s team-leading seventh goal of the season six minutes later.
The match stayed knotted up at one for another 12 minutes.
In the 78th minute junior forward Rubin Bega scored his fourth goal of the season to give MSU the win.
MSU, now 11-3, will take on Indiana at 1 p.m. Sunday at DeMartin Stadium at Old College Field.
