An intoxicated 23-year-old male from Hillsdale, Mich. allegedly assaulted two people and kicked in a car passenger window early Sunday morning, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The suspect went inside Owen Hall when the victim of the assault, a 21-year-old male MSU student said he noticed the suspect entering the building while muttering profanities.
When the suspect exited the building, the suspect yelled and grabbed the hair of his girlfriend, a 21-year-old female MSU student. He then yelled at the victim and punched him in the face. The victim called 911 and police arrived. The victim did not press charges and refused medical treatment.
About an hour later in Lot 25 near the Wharton Center the suspect allegedly got into a fight with his girlfriend and kicked in a window of her car. The carsustained $100 in damage.
The female student has filed for one count of criminal sexual conduct in the second degree and one count of malicious destruction of property. The case has been reported to the Ingham County Circuit Court.
