Wallet, cell phone stolen from car
A 56-year-old male MSU employee reported his wallet and cell phone stolen after his car was broken into between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Candlewood Suites, 3545 Forest Road, in Lansing, MSU police Sgt. Paul Kuchek said.
The front passenger window of the vehicle, a 2008 Ford Lincoln, was shattered, Kuchek said. The stolen cell phone and wallet were valued at $400, and damage to the vehicle was estimated at $100. The object used to break the window has not been identified.
There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
