Rowing heads to NCAA Championship

May 26, 2010

The MSU women’s rowing team starts action in the NCAA National Championship Regatta on Friday in Sacramento, Calif.

For the 12th time in the last 13 years, the Spartans will be competing in the sport’s national championship and will look to improve on their sixth place finish each of the last two years.

After finishing second at the Big Ten Championships in early May, MSU finished second in the Central Region and third overall at the Aramark South/Central Sprints in Oak Ridge, Tenn., which were May 15 and 16.
