Rick Foster, a W.K. Kellogg professor in food, society and sustainability at MSU, has been selected to direct the new Institute for Greening Michigan: Leveraging Natural and Human Assets for Prosperity.

The Institute for Greening Michigan is one of four new organizations created as a result of MSU Extension restructuring.
Foster’s appointment will be effective July 1, and he will direct MSU Extension’s work in community and economic development, natural resources, food systems and resources allocation within the realm of finances, housing and energy.
