For the last 30-plus years in the world, what has been a more “iconic” icon than the Nike Swoosh?
Can’t we have a little faith that even a fraction of Nike’s good design juju is going to rub off on us to our long-term benefit?
My sense is that the shrillest critics of the new MSU logo would have had the same reactionary response to the Swoosh when it first appeared in the early 1970s.
And they would have been flat-out wrong.
