18-year-old hit by vehicle while biking

An 18-year-old Kingsley, Mich., woman reported being hit by an unknown vehicle while riding her bicycle Monday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The woman was riding her red Schwinn down Red Cedar Road at about 10:15 a.m. when she was struck by the gray or silver-colored truck, McGlothian-Taylor said. She was not injured and she and the driver of the vehicle decided not to report the incident to police.

She reported the incident after being instructed to do so by her mother.
