Community members can “take a stand against hunger” by participating in the Greater Lansing Food Bank’s 27th annual envelope drive.
The fundraising campaign asks community members to get involved by donating money and food to feed the hungry in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties.
The Greater Lansing Food Bank has experienced a 25 percent increase in requests for food assistance, said Terry Link, the Greater Lansing Food Bank’s Executive Director, in a statement.
Donation envelopes will be distributed in the Nov. 8 edition of the Lansing State Journal and the campaign will run into January 2010.
