Laundry stolen from washing machine

Two students reported $440 worth of clothing and a $10 laundry basket stolen from a public washing machine in Spartan Village, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The victims, a 23-year-old woman and 29-year-old man who live together in Spartan Village, left the laundry room while their clothing was in the machine. The woman returned to find the clothing, which included a dress, two pairs of jeans, five shirts and several pairs of underwear, missing, along with the basket.

There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
