Jazz waive former Spartan Suton

Former MSU center Goran Suton was among three players waived by the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, the Salt Lake Tribune reported.

Suton was selected in the second round of the NBA draft, picked 50th overall.

Suton started all five of the Jazz’s summer league games from July 6-10, averaging 4.8 points and 4.4 rebounds a game. In six preseason games, Suton has averaged 1.7 points and .7 rebounds in 8.3 minutes a game.

In his last year at MSU, Suton averaged 10.4 points and 8.4 rebounds a game.
