MSU Police are searching for an unknown male suspect in connection with two crimes Tuesday on campus, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
After a 47-year-old female university employee reported $20 stolen Tuesday morning from her office in the Administration Building, a 46-year old female university employee found a man meeting the same description going through her office in Olds Hall.
Police believe the crimes, which occurred between 10:20 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., were committed by the same man.
The suspect, described as a skinny, 6-foot-tall male in his late 20s or early 30s and wearing a long-sleeved white shirt and light-colored jeans, ran when police attempted to detain him in Olds Hall, McGlothian-Taylor said.
Nothing was reported missing from Olds Hall.
