A VCR and flat-screen TV were reported missing from a conference room in Butterfield Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
A 46-year-old male employee notified police when he saw a window screen lying on the ground next to a Dumpster beneath an open window, she said.
Police arrived to find the $600 TV and $50 VCR missing and the doors to the conference room still locked, she said.
There are no suspects and the case still is under investigation.
