Cash stolen from Wells Hall vending machine
A thief broke into a vending machine in Wells Hall and stole the cash box from it, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The incident occurred between midnight and 6:30 p.m. on Friday. A 20-year-old male student told police he last saw the door to the vending machine closed at midnight, but saw the door opened and the machine’s cash box sitting on a chair at 6:30 p.m.
Police said there is no estimate of the amount of money stolen from the cash box, and no damage was incurred to the machine’s door, which had been pried open, McGlothian-Taylor said.
There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
