Woman’s SUV vandalized in E.L. parking garage
A vandal carved the words “Compact Only” into a 51-year-old Lansing woman’s sport utility vehicle, which was parked in a space marked for compact cars in the Kellogg Center parking garage, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The woman parked her car at 3 p.m. Friday to attend the high school boys’ basketball state finals at Breslin Center. She returned at 7:50 p.m. and found the message written on her 1997 Jeep Cherokee. The woman said she hadn’t noticed the spot was marked “Compact Only” until she returned to her vehicle.
Police have no suspects and the incident is still under investigation.
