Student’s money burgled from pants in locker room
An 18-year-old student made the mistake of leaving his personal belongings on a bench in Munn Ice Arena’s locker room Tuesday, and it ended up costing him $80, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The student arrived for a hockey class at 8 a.m., changed clothes in the locker room and left the items out in the open. When he returned to the locker room at 9:15 a.m., he found someone had stolen $80 in cash out of his pants pocket. Nothing else was taken from his personal belongings.
Police have no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
