A 19-year-old female student reported nearly $700 worth of clothing stolen after a Wonders Hall employee took them to be washed, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The employee had soaked the clothes while repairing a shower head in the student’s bathroom and said she would have the clothes laundered in the Wonders laundry room for free. After the clothes were cleaned, the employee left them unattended in a laundry cart on the hall loading dock before delivering the cart to the student’s room, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student arrived at her room 10 minutes later and found approximately 19 items were missing.
Police have no suspects and are continuing their investigation.
