Knife, block set stolen from home, garden show
A 21-year-old woman and 35-year-old man, both from Lansing, reported a 32-piece knife and block set stolen from their exhibit at the Lansing Home & Garden Show at the Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The incident occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday, when the woman closed her exhibit for the night, and 9:30 a.m. Sunday, when she returned. The knife and block set, complete with polished steel blades, pearl handles and cherry wood blocks, is valued at $2,000, McGlothian-Taylor said.
Police have no suspects and the incident is still under investigation.
