A 19-year-old female student reported a GPS stolen from her vehicle in Lot 89, the commuter lot near Farm Lane and Mount Hope Road, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
MSU police on patrol in the lot Friday said the student’s front passenger window of her black Ford Explorer was smashed. Police notified the student after running the vehicle’s parking permit number. The student said she had parked her car on Jan. 11 and had not returned to the vehicle until police notified her of the smashed window, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The GPS was valued at $150. No other items were taken from the vehicle. McGlothian-Taylor said there are no suspects, and the incident is still under investigation.
