Dantonio introduces Class of 2013

MSU head coach signs 23 players to National Letter of intent; class rated No. 14 by recruiting Web site Rivals.com

On Wednesday’s National Signing Day, the MSU football team announced the addition of 23 student-athletes to the football program for the 2009 season.

The Spartans’ 2009 recruiting class, which ranks 15th in the country by recruiting Web site Rivals.com, has 10 four-star recruits and seven of the top 10 rated players in Michigan. The class consists of 12 players from Michigan, seven from Ohio, two from Florida and one each from Indiana and Iowa.

On Wednesday, MSU head coach Mark Dantonio met with media in the Skandalaris Football Center to discuss his latest recruiting class, which he gave an “A” grade.
