Vendor’s display derailed after model engine theft

A model train engine was stolen Sunday from a vendor’s table during a model train convention at the Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The vendor, a 47-year-old with no MSU affiliation, was setting up after the event’s doors opened around 10 a.m. He put the Bachmann Master Railroader Series model train engine on display and noticed it was missing at 10:20 a.m., McGlothian-Taylor said.
The value of the loss is estimated at $275 and there are no suspects.
