Sometimes, writing in a diary or journal is the only way to release your thoughts and feelings. Those feelings and thoughts can be very personal at times, so the risk of someone reading it is not an option. Here are some tips on how to hide your diary or journal and avoid awkward, uncomfortable or humiliating discoveries by an someone else.

Hide your journal
- Avoid the typical hiding spots where most people would know to look, such as: The top shelf or your closet, in your pillowcase or in your underwear drawer.
- Put your diary/journal inside a desktop computer. Most computers have lots of empty space inside the case. Just be sure not to store it somewhere where it will damage your computer, start a fire or block airflow to components that need cooling.
- Make a hollow book and put your diary/journal inside.
- Stick your diary/journal behind a framed picture on the wall.
