Freshman fifteen Q's

Micinski

College is a whole new world for many freshmen traveling campus for the first time. The State News sat down with one of these brave explorers to get a glimpse, in 15 questions or less, at a new face on campus and his perspective of his new frontier.

Meet Kristopher Micinski

1. What’s your major? Computer engineering and mathematics.

2. Where are you from? Decatur, Texas.

3. Where do you live? Mason-Abbot Hall.

4. What’s your favorite thing about Thanksgiving? Why? You don’t have to go to class. Because I don’t always like going to class.

5. Would you ever want to be on a reality show? Why or why not? I think I would want to be on a reality show, because you wouldn’t have to do work during that time.

6. Did you ever get sent to detention in high school? If so, what for? Yeah, I think I got sent to detention a lot of times. And I don’t always remember what (for). It was probably because I was yelling or something like that.

7. When is the appropriate time to begin listening to Christmas music? I think after Thanksgiving.

8. How many times have you gotten lost on campus this semester? Probably about five — all in the first two weeks.

9. What would you consider your greatest accomplishment this semester? Bringing my lab average up from like a 30 to a 45-out-of-50.

10. If you could have any exotic pet, what would it be and why? I think it would be a tiger, because I like (the comic strip) “Calvin and Hobbes.”

11. Do you ask for paper or plastic at the store? Why? I usually ask for paper if they have it, because it’s better for the environment.

12. What is the meaning of life? That would be 42.
