Program to promote breast-health device

October 19, 2008

Students and East Lansing residents can attend “Girls Nite In,” a presentation on breast health, breast cancer and prevention at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Curves in East Lansing.

Curves is located at 3498 E. Lake Lansing Road, and participants will be able see a demonstration on the LivAid, a new breast self-examination device that helps magnify the sense of touch.

Medical professionals from Alliance OB-GYN, 1200 E. Michigan Ave., in Lansing, will be leading the presentation.

The event is free, and the LivAid can be purchased at Curves for $10 during the month of October.
