MSU student hit by car
A dietetics senior was struck by a black vehicle as she walked to class at 7:30 a.m. Monday, East Lansing police Capt. Tom Johnstone said.
A dietetics senior was struck by a black vehicle as she walked to class at 7:30 a.m. Monday, East Lansing police Capt. Tom Johnstone said.
Marin Jackson was walking at the intersection of Grand River Avenue and Collingwood Drive. The vehicle was turning right onto Grand River Avenue when it hit Jackson, Johnstone said.
Jackson did not report any injuries to police at the time of the incident, but went to Lansing’s Sparrow Hospital on Tuesday.
She suffered a fractured wrist, a bruised lung and bruising along the side of her body.
There are no suspects.
