Obama's health care plan could draw in student votes

Being a current student, and having watched friends and older sisters look for jobs after graduating, I understand that there is often a substantial amount of time between earning a degree and finding a career. I think it is extremely important to be able to have adequate health care regardless of where one is employed or what stage one is at in life. Everyone gets sick and everyone deserves treatment. That is why I support Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Obama’s plan will not only provide health care for every child in America, it will allow young adults to be covered under their parents’ plan until the age of 25. Obama’s plan will bring about improvements in the health care system and benefit every American by cutting costs and raising standards for many health care plans. It is a comfort to know that there is a candidate that recognizes what a serious issue health care is for average citizens and refuses to accept that in this country there are people who can’t get the medical services they need.
