Freshman fifteen Q's

Panyavit Chattanrassamee

College is a whole new world for many freshmen traveling campus for the first time. The State News sat down with one of these brave explorers to get a glimpse, in 15 questions or less, at a new face on campus and his perspective on his new frontier.

Meet Panyavit Chattanrassamee

1. Where are you from? I’m from Thailand.

2. What’s your major? My major is no preference, but I might go for chemistry or science.

3. Where do you live? I’m living in Bryan Hall, which is in Brody.

4. How’s life in the dorms? It’s pretty good so far. I stay with some Chinese and some Thailand people.

5. Do you prefer dorm, house or fraternity parties? Why? I like to stay in the dorms. It’s pretty fun and there’s a lot of friends here.

6. As a child, would you rather draw inside or outside the lines? Why? Inside. I would say it (looks) better.

7. What is a TV show you’d like to see back on the air? I like “Family Guy,” “Futurama” and “The Simpsons.”

8. What do you think are in hot dogs? I would believe a lot of meats — maybe bones, and tissue that we don’t know, maybe some insects or rats that fell down. I don’t actually like hot dogs.

9. What was the first album you bought? It’s going to be a Thailand album called “Potato.”

10. Where would you go in a time machine? I might want to talk to Albert Einstein once.

11. What’s your favorite class so far? I like science class so far. It’s not bad, even the reading and memorize stuff.

12. Would you rather never eat ketchup or mayonnaise? I would rather eat ketchup because I think mayonnaise is kind of fat.

13. What did you want to be as a child? I dreamed to be a scientist. The reason why is that I like (to) experiment (with) stuff.

14. How do you feel about celebrity gossip? I’m not quite interested in that.

15. What’s your guilty pleasure? I like to play games and I like to play pingpong.
