Window smashed, purse stolen at IM parking lot
A purse was stolen out of a 2006 Jeep Liberty parked at the IM Sports-West parking lot on Red Cedar Road July 26 between 2:30-3:30 p.m., MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The owner of the Jeep, a 20-year-old female student, was exercising, McGlothian-Taylor said.
When she returned, the rear passenger window had been smashed out and the purse, which was hidden under the rear seat, was gone.
The purse, which was Jones New York brand, contained $50 in cash and a wallet valued at $75, McGlothian-Taylor said. The case is still under investigation.
