A 1996 Cadillac Deville was damaged by a university-owned Bobcat truck at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Student Services building, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The owner of the vehicle, a 48-year-old university employee, reported the Bobcat struck the right front corner of the Cadillac, scraping off the paint and rubber molding of the bumper, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The driver of the Bobcat said they were attempting to avoid a parking meter post while edging the sidewalk, but there was no parking meter in the direct area where the damage occurred, McGlothian-Taylor said.
There was no damage to the Bobcat.
