Linebacker TyQuan Hammock verbally committed to MSU on Tuesday, making him the 13th member of head coach Mark Dantonio’s 2009 recruiting class, according to Rivals.com.
Hammock, from Fort Wayne, Ind., is a three-star prospect and the 27th-best inside linebacker in the nation, according to the Web site.
The 6-foot-1, 220-pound linebacker also received offers from Minnesota, Indiana and Northwestern.
Hammock is the second linebacker to verbally commit to MSU for the class of 2009, as four-star recruit and high school All-American Chris Norman committed Feb. 1.
