Early MSU football schedule released

The MSU football team’s first four games will be televised, according to MSU Sports Information.

The Spartans will open the 2008 season on Aug. 30 with an 8 p.m. EDT game at California (ABC), before returning to East Lansing for three consecutive home games.

MSU will kick off the home stand on Sept. 6 with a noon game against Eastern Michigan (Big Ten Network), and continue Sept. 13 with another noon game against Florida Atlantic (ESPN or ESPN 2), and wrap it up Sept. 20 with a 3:30 p.m. game against Notre Dame (ABC).

The following Saturday, MSU will travel to Bloomington to open conference play against Indiana.
