Unmarked gas pipeline punctured at Kobs Field
A 25-year-old man working with a construction company accidentally punctured an unmarked gas pipeline at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kobs Field, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
A 25-year-old man working with a construction company accidentally punctured an unmarked gas pipeline at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kobs Field, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The employee, who was drilling in the field, punctured the gas line with an 8-inch auger drill, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The area was evacuated of all people, McGlothian-Taylor said. By 1:30 p.m., the gas pipeline was repaired.
There were no injuries.
