Purse stolen from vehicle in university parking lot
A purse was stolen out of a 1998 Chevrolet Venture in the parking lot of the University Club on Saturday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The victim, a 38-year-old female with no university affiliation, may have left the car unlocked when she went inside, McGlothian-Taylor said. When she returned, a purse that was behind the driver’s seat was gone.
The purse contained a credit card, debit card, library card and $4, as well as a $100 Motorola cell phone, McGlothian-Taylor said.
There are no suspects.
