About $755 of construction equipment was stolen from a 26-year-old male with no university affiliation at Demonstration Hall last Tuesday between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The victim left a bag with tools, valued around $645, and a drill case with battery and charger valued around $110 unattended on the floor in the northwest part of the hall, McGlothian-Taylor said.
When he returned, the items were missing. The southwest door of the hall was unlocked during the day, McGlothian-Taylor said. The suspect is unknown.
Unwatched belongings disappear from campus
A 21-year-old male student had about $640 worth of items stolen from the Union around 3 p.m. on Friday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The victim left his Eddie Bauer backpack, valued around $50, containing his Spanish textbook and workbook, valued at $140, and Nintendo DS with games, valued around $450, unattended at the north side of the food court, McGlothian-Taylor said.
When he returned, the items were missing. There are no suspects.
