Carrying an oversized faux alligator purse, apparel and textile design senior Caitlin McNally brought a glimmer of style past Snyder-Phillips Hall as she headed home from class Wednesday.
The State News: Can you describe your style?
Caitlin McNally: The main thing is that I don’t like baggy clothes. I like form-chasing styles. I’m not a very curvy person, so I’d rather have my curves be shown. I just like it to be simple. Streamlined, I guess.
SN: What colors do you wear?
CM: I like neutrals, whites, grays, blacks and then sometimes a pop of color.
SN: Do you have a signature idea you carry through your outfits?
CM: I guess just simple — I don’t do a lot of accessories or anything over the top.
SN: What are you wearing?
CM: Today I have my black high boots, I have dark-wash skinny jeans, a plain white knit shirt and my ribbed sweater that’s really soft. And a big, large purse.
SN: What’s your favorite thing you are wearing today?
CM: That would be my boots. I think they’re really in and I like the way they look on me.
SN: Are there any designers who influence you?
CM: None specifically — I kind of do what I want and do what I think looks good on me.
