Stylish student Fiona Smith, arts and humanities freshman

The State News: What are you wearing?

Fiona Smith: A hoodie that I got from H&M and I sewed some patches on it from a bookstore in Minneapolis. I’m also wearing some jeans I just had from Dark Jeans and my old-school Vans and a scarf my mom got for me.

SN: What’s your style?

FS: It’s different, it’s weird, it’s me. I don’t think there’s really a specific word for it because I dress different all the time.

SN: What influences you?

FS: Stylized patterns and designs and stuff. I’m really into vintage and thrift-store stuff.

SN: What’s your favorite part of your outfit?

FS: Definitely my scarf and my hoodie. My scarf, it’s really colorful. And my hoodie, it’s unique, I really like the patch that’s on the front, it’s “word” in sign language. The hoodie is very D.I.Y., it’s very me.
