Freshmen fifteen Q's

Sharon Luginbill

College is a whole new world for many freshmen traveling campus for the first time. The State News sat down with one of these brave explorers to get a glimpse, in 15 questions or less, at a new face on campus and his perspective on his new frontier.

Meet Sharon Luginbill

1. What’s your major?

Communicative sciences and disorders

2. What is your favorite food to get in the cafeteria?

Probably the pizza at (Late Night Dining) in Landon Hall.

3. Where is your favorite place to get a burrito and why?

Probably Chipotle just because you get a good deal and it’s large enough.

4. What’s the first song you would put on a party playlist?

‘Please Don’t Stop the Music’ by Rihanna. I always work out to it, and whenever I work out to it, I always, I don’t know, I think it would be fun to party to.

5. Describe the smell of your dorm room.

Ugh, it’s just dead air, basically. It’s horrible.

6. Where’s the best place to go on a date in East Lansing?

I always think it’d be cheap and easy to go see a movie at Wells Hall and then probably have dinner on Grand River (Avenue) or something.

7. What did you do during your spring break?

I just went home to Troy, Mich.

8. What do you wish you would have done during your spring break?

I wish I would have gone someplace warm like Florida or just anywhere cooler than Michigan.

9. What’s your favorite outfit?

Probably, I just bought a blue dress from Forever 21, and you can wear it dress-up or you could wear it casually.

10. What Monopoly property do you most desire?

I hate Monopoly. What’s the expensive one? Boardwalk or Park Place or something?

11. What reality show is your guilty pleasure?

‘Rock of Love.’

12. What do you think about St. Patrick’s Day being changed to the 15th this year?

I think it works because there’s the race on Saturday and then afterward you can just go out and party.

13. How many things have you done in college that you don’t want to tell your parents?

Probably, there’s been a couple of things, just every weekend you go out and there’s stuff that you do that you don’t want to tell your parents about.

14. Where’s your favorite place to study on campus?

The women’s lounge in the Union, or Barnes & Noble.

15. What canceled TV show do you wish was still on the air?

‘The O.C.’ Even though it sucked at the end, I’m still obsessed with it.
