Concerning past letters published in The State News about the circus coming to Breslin Center: I couldn’t agree more. I used to attend the circus as a child, but stopped going many years ago. I couldn’t stand seeing those poor animals caged, not to mention the horrible abuse they suffer. Yes, the trainers and owners are very good at covering up this abuse.

They need to be held criminally responsible and given long jail sentences. If you are a true animal lover, do not support these atrocities. If anything, help fund the animals’ release and save these innocent creatures. They deserve to be protected. The real animals are the abusers.
