Student’s wallet stolen from Chemistry Building
A wallet containing two gift cards, each worth $100, various forms of identification and $20 in cash was stolen from a student sometime between Jan. 24 and Saturday at the Chemistry Building, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The 23-year-old female student reported a suspect entered her office and stole the wallet off her desk, McGlothian-Taylor said. The victim indicated the office door was unlocked and that she often leaves the wallet on her desk unattended, McGlothian-Taylor said. There are no suspects in the theft. Police are investigating the incident.
