A pair of Gucci loafers, valued at $400, was stolen from a student’s room between 8 p.m. Friday and 1:30 a.m. Monday at East Holden Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The 19-year-old male victim reported that a suspect broke the chain on his bathroom door, which separates his room from his suitemate’s, entered the room and stole the loafers, McGlothian-Taylor said. MSU police have contacted the victim’s suitemate for questioning, McGlothian-Taylor said. There are no suspects, and police are investigating the theft.
